GOAL
Milan Fashion Film Festival asked six movie directors to interpret six even-more-famous Italian fashion brands, in an exclusive project for Vogue Italia: Through My Eyes. Senio Zapruder was commissioned to Moschino, historic label known for its ironic twist.
I’ve been working personally on developing the idea Senio had in mind, transforming this in a story, in a magic spell.
CONCEPT & STORYTELLING
Senio had in mind the idea of putting in scene a magic ritual, with obscure finalities, interpreted by four young and attractive girls. Together we’ve been working on defining these four character, to the point that each of them represents a different approach to the magic arts and has a different way of using her body and femininity.
The set design was particularly interesting experience: the witchcraft table was a main focus of the action – shot from above and visible in the circular take too – therefore we wanted to create something “spellbinding” itself.
OUTPUT
The movie is presented as an exclusive commission of Vogue Italia and Milan Fashion Film Festival during the event Vogue Fashion Night Out 2016 and projected during the MFFF during the Milan Women Fashion-week of September.
